Our founders, Christian A. Delgado Palomino and Ana Maria Taboada Rojas, gained scientific and professional expertise working in the International Potato Center (CIP), a worldwide research institute located in Lima, Peru. Together, they served in the Crop Protection Department, developing methods for the diagnosis of emerging plant pathogens. The primary intent was to share these tools for crop protection with governmental and non-governmental organizations related to worldwide potato production, such as seed production, quarantine, and germplasm collections.
In 2002, they moved to the United States to work for Agdia Inc. on projects developing commercial-grade plant diagnostic products. They optimized ELISA tests for plant pathogens, oversaw the large-scale production of antibodies and conjugates, coordinated internal and external product validation processes, and expanded into the international market.
These experiences equipped us with a comprehensive understanding of crop protection. We know the importance of effective use of commercial diagnostic products to evaluate plant pathogens, GMOs, quality factors, and plant hormones.
In October 2009, Christian and Ana Maria founded Delta Diagnostica LLC to provide easier access to diagnostic tools and consultation for labs and companies in South and Central America.
Plant diseases are transmitted by vectors (insects, bacteria, nematodes or fungi), grafting or by simple contact between the plants, causing losses in the agricultural industry.
Early identification of plant pathogens is essential to prevent significant economic impact.

We provide and recommend the products as reagents, equipment, or instruments necessary for plant diagnostics, plant tissue culture and field crop activities.
Delta Diagnostica LLC represents and commercializes LOEWE Biochemica GmbH and AGRITEST SRL. We also sell Agdia Inc. products.
